We now have a phenomenal opportunity for an Actuarial Analyst to join us in supporting our With-Profits Actuary Team in York.

Our Actuarial Analysts are responsible for providing insight into the effective management of customer outcomes for With-Profits customers in the context of declining funds, focussing on the delivery of fair customer outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the management of our With-Profits business with reference to established policy - as detailed in the Court Scheme, Principles and Practices of Financial Management (PPFM) and the Management Services Agreement (MSA)
  • Carrying out peer reviews of bonus proposals, reporting to our With-Profits actuaries
  • Providing input and analysis to the With-Profits Committee and Board
  • Acting as a subject matter authority on managing the With-Profits business from a customer perspective


Skills & Experience required:

  • University graduate (or equivalent experience) in mathematics or related subject
  • Strong analytical skills on complex data
  • Strong understanding of Excel
  • Confidence in dealing with stakeholders at various levels
