Business Development Executive (Medical Insurance)

Job Description:

My client who are an industry leading insurance provider are currently growing their sales function and they are building a team that will focus on selling Medical/Health Insurance to businesses across specific geographical locations to improve their market share and brand. This is a field-based role.

The role will be home based and you will be covering one of the following areas below depending on your location

South West & South Wales         - ideally located Bristol area

East Anglia                                 - ideally located Cambridge to Norwich area

Central West                               - ideally located Birmingham area

Scotland & Northern Ireland       - Scotland

Key Duties:

  • You’ll deliver cost effective, scalable distribution for Individual Private Medical Insurance, Small Group Private Medical Insurance and any other product deemed appropriate.
  • You’ll support Regional Sales Managers by implementing a strategic business plan with each intermediary to meet business objectives and will contribute to product development through feedback and analysis.
  • You’ll contribute to the Intermediary Sales distribution plan by maximising contact strategy through multi-contact, face to face business development/account management and will produce and analyse monthly MI to effectively performance manage intermediaries.
  • With a proven track record in sales (ideally private medical insurance or group risk) you’ll also have account management experience along with sharp business development ability; demonstrating success in a target led environment.
